spent saturday in san francisco at the mollusk surfshop / dane reynolds party with the mumlers and  alex kopps' opening with tomorrows tulips (not to mention the body surfing festival at ocean beach). so fun. here are a few pics but there are more. stay tuned...

 this is tashen the youngest member of the RECESS team with his new shirt. he's 3 and he already rips. he was "dropping in" all afternoon.

perhaps the coolest barbershop / hangout in santa cruz. A few weeks ago John gave Olin more or less free rein over the wall on the left side of the entrance. This is what developed:

Johnny is a super talented artist himself as well as the proprietor of Johnny's Barbershop - the best barbershop in Santa Cruz and coolest place to hang out and watch a Giants game. Olin Borgeson / Recess : A show of paintings

11 year old Olin Borgeson, artist and t-shirt designer among other things will be showing his recent paintings at Johnny's Barbershop on Friday, October 7th from 6 - 9 pm. All works are for sale as well as T-shirts designed by Olin under his brand name "Recess". Drinks will be provided for this family-friendly affair. 

Bring the kids, enjoy the paintings and support a young budding artist.
